I’ve also been an experimental music composer, a teaching assistant, a bookstore clerk, a movie concessions worker, a customer service punching bag, a teaching assistant, and many, many other illustrious positions. I spent most of that time as a Teen Librarian, running free events for teens, specializing in YA books, and generally having a grand time. I worked in public libraries the longest, from 2011 to 2021.
